The WodaPlug technology uses electrical grids, already available inside walls to transmit data from computer to computer. WodaPlug technology modulates computer data in a way to enable them use power grid as a medium of transmission from point to point. Using this technology, two computers have a virtual Ethernet connection without the need to be physically connected to each other.

Answer:
There are two important differences between the technologies WodaPlug and Internet Power line.
On one hand, with WodaPlug the distance which must be covered are smaller. Therefore, Internet Power line had to transmit with stronger signal levels. This caused different problems, e.g. problems concerning radiation and compatibility to other devices (electromagnetic compatibility CE/EMC).
Furthermore, with Internet Power line the provided bandwidth had to be shared with up to several hundred members and with WodaPlug, the bandwidth is only shared among some users.

The WodaPlug technology does not cause interference to other technologies. In fact, much work was done to ensure that the products using the WodaPlug technology would co-exist with other methods of home networking.
Because power outlets are located on nearly every wall of a home, they are a logical choice to use for a data connection. Even though some newer homes are built „network-ready“ and pre-wired with Category 5 wiring, they are likely to have rooms or walls without available connectivity. WodaPlug technology also eliminates some of the problems with wireless networking, allowing access points to be moved to more convenient locations in the home, reducing the need for multiple wireless access points.

Yes, but it is recommended to use a phase coupler device to connect the phases and to improve data transfer possibility. If the wirings of the two phases are near each other, it should work without the coupler. Powerline signals generally pass through electrical meters. Of course, there may be meters which will disable Powerline communication. We recommend to test the connectivity with Diagnostics Kit.

Make sure there is no transformer on the way between the devices. Powerline signal cannot pass through a transformer. You will have to bypass it, using some other kind of connection. For example you can connect the two segments on the opposite sides of the transformer with ethernet cable (2 Powerline Ethernet Adapters), or with Wireless 2 Powerline Access Points.

We recommend using distances up to 200 meters. Under ideal conditions it is possible to reach longer distances. This depends on the type of cable and the quality of the joints. Diagnostics Kit will help you find out the maximal distance between the most distant outlets, so that you still reach sufficient throughput.
